Was it a lucky or unlucky game Gameweek 13 for you and your team this past week?
It was a decent average point’s week for this Gameweek with 43 points being the average haul, a little down on the average for the league mind. We had somewhat of an unusual week this Gameweek too, with plenty of new faces bringing in decent points hauls. That was probably what caused the lower than normal points scores. Players like Zeegelaar (14 points) and Sakho (13 points) scored big while they have only been picked by 0.7% and 0.3% of managers across the globe, let alone our all-important league.

AuthorJeffEyesRimmer Thank the football gods that club football is back. It feels like ages since the last Gameweek. Thankfully the international break is over and we won’t have to worry about one of those until March next year now. On to Gameweek 12!
It was a high average point’s week for this Gameweek with 56 points being the average haul. We had some familiar faces making the headlines in Gameweek 12, with Paul Pogba, Mo Salah and Eden Hazard producing the goods this week. Oumar Niasse continues his good form and contributed well, another striker that might be back is Lukaku. Another player making headlines was Callum Wilson, with many managers jumping on the bandwagon and transferring him into their teams. Did some of you read through our tips article (here) for some help as it seems like some managers points hauls went considerably up this Gameweek? AuthorJeffEyesRimmer With the International fixtures this week for the final qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup the Premier League Fantasy Football League has taken a break. So there is obviously no update to league standings etc.
However, we didn’t want to leave the league dormant for another week so instead of bringing you a league update we thought we would bring you a few advanced tips from the people that know what they are talking about. In other words these tips come from fantasy football gurus and not from me, so you can at least take some comfort in that. So here is Five Tips to Improve Your Fantasy Football EPL Team going forward for the rest of the season. AuthorJeefEyesRimmer Gameweek 11 is done and dusted and our league leader has broken the 700 point barrier! They are really leaving the rest of us trailing in their wake.
It was a decent average point’s week for this Gameweek with 44 points being the average haul (For once I managed to get higher than the average). We had different players making the headlines in Gameweek 11, with Steve Cook, Scott Malone and Oumar Niasse producing the goods this week. It was a solid week if you had Azpilicueta and Morata in the team too but plenty of managers cried a river of tears over Harry Kane and Lukaku who both failed to grab major points. AuthorJeffEyesRimmer We are up to Gameweek 10 and we are now over a quarter of our way through this season. I think it’s safe to say we now know who the team to beat is in this league. If the current and former champions wanted a challenge well they have it.
AuthorJeffEyesRimmer We have finished Gameweek 9 and the contenders for the league are really making themselves known now.
A pretty decent average points week, with 50 points being the average haul. A bit more obscure players like Murray, Richarlison and Stanislas being good players to have in the squad this week along with established players like Aguerro, Kane and Otamendi. So how the league positioned after Gameweek 8? A few game weeks have gone by and the international break has ended and we kick back off with the next round of fixtures for the clubs and managers this weekend.
After a few weeks hiatus the league has begun to take shape and we now have some clubs looking like serious contenders this season. Its been a while but Gameweek 3 has passed and the EPL takes a breath during the international break. It also gives us managers a chance to tinker with our squads a bit more.
So how did Gameweek 3 go? Did Wanyama Believe It stay in first place and what about the relegation fight at the bottom? AuthorJeffEyesRimmer Its the second week in and its still a bit early to know how the league will shape up. However, there has been quite a bit of movement in the league and we have a new leader at the top.
AuthorJeffEyesRimmer The new season has started and in Gameweek 1 we had a great start to the League campaign. Some of those teams tipped to be challenging for the title have already rushed out to an early lead. There have also been some unexpected sides that have won some high scores, surprising us here at Football Outcast HQ, but their managers will certainly be pleased.
So who are the movers and the shakers in Gameweek 1? |
