AuthorJeffEyesRimmer We are up to Gameweek 10 and we are now over a quarter of our way through this season. I think it’s safe to say we now know who the team to beat is in this league. If the current and former champions wanted a challenge well they have it. It was a pretty poor average point’s week for this Gameweek with only 39 points being the average haul (I did not get that!). Players like Christian Fuchs, Phil Jones and Darren Fletcher produced the goods this week. It was a solid week if you had a number of Man City players in the squad too, with Sane and Fernandinho getting good point hauls. Edin Hazard seems to be back too. To be fair I think a lot of us can blame a certain Spaniard for not playing a certain Argentine striker for the lower than average points haul. That and Kane being injured! Florence the Eagle and manager Affleck continue their dominance at the top, that makes it four weeks in a row and it doesn’t look likely that they will relinquish the top spot anytime soon. Affleck has extended their lead again at the top to 27 points, slowly pushing them out to average point’s territory. Even at this early stage it’s looking very difficult to catch them. Koom Kulx Klan and manager Mani P have also stayed in second but have lost ground on the league leaders and to add insult to injury Bacuna Nakata have moved up into third and gained points on them in second. It’s proving to be a very good few weeks for manager Ware, who said “As a suffering Swansea fan who rigidly sticks to the three compulsory Swansea City player selection rules the fantasy league is proving light relief to the Premier League, long may it continue”. Bacuna Nakata and Ware have overtaken Storm Riders, who drop down into fourth; it really does seem like that three Swansea player rule is working for them. Although a points haul of 40 means it’s an above average week this week for manger Gleeson and they keep pace with the leaders. Two new entries this week too, with managers Verma and Gent both breaking into the top 10, pushing current league Champions 3Ks out and earlier league leader All Blacks United also dropping out. Down the other end there is little change in the bottom three but manager Lacazette needs to be careful not to be drawn into the dogfight. Mayor Team are continuing on their upward trajectory as well, Blackenbrecher and manager Blackwell will be looking over their shoulder. In scouting news the top players that are top coming into teams are:
