Was it a lucky or unlucky game Gameweek 13 for you and your team this past week?
It was a decent average point’s week for this Gameweek with 43 points being the average haul, a little down on the average for the league mind. We had somewhat of an unusual week this Gameweek too, with plenty of new faces bringing in decent points hauls. That was probably what caused the lower than normal points scores. Players like Zeegelaar (14 points) and Sakho (13 points) scored big while they have only been picked by 0.7% and 0.3% of managers across the globe, let alone our all-important league.
Florence the Eagle and manager Affleck remain top. They saw a storm on the horizon and have answered the challenge, with the highest points (54) total from teams within the top 10. Storm Riders and manager Gleeson therefore lose ground on the title leaders but I certainly wouldn’t count them out. Manager Gleeson has proven to be one shrewd manager and with two title wins under his belt he and his team are the ones to beat.
Mani P and Koom Klux clearly didn’t like being pipped to second spot though and have put in an above average Gameweek (49 points) to claw back some ground on the Storm Riders. While manager Gleeson is looking up, he might want to take a look back too. Overall though the top 6 stay the same from last week, we are finally starting to see a bit of consistency from the leading pack, the cream always rises to the top as they say. In fact there were only a couple of movers in the top 10, with Farcelona leapfrogging Bacuna Nakata into 7th. That one is looking to be quite the rivalry with them changing position each week. Also Matthew 22:37 and manager Agyei are back into the top 10 knocking Da Blues FC and manager Mohamed out of the top 10. He wasn’t there long and has dropped down to 13th with another two teams overtaking them. It was a stellar round for Optics United as well, with a Gameweek high point’s haul of 71 points to leap from 19th to 12th (probably the only time Ill get to mention my team guys).
Plenty of movement in the middle of the table as well, with teams jostling for positions. In fact there are only 45 points separating 10th placed Matthew 22:37 with James Palmers side – Smack my Bilic up in 20th - All to play for.
It seems I may have put the kiss of death on Lords of Asgard last week though, they were upwardly mobile and up into 29th last week, closing on the current champions (3Ks) but have had a poor week (35 points) and have dropped back into 31st. The commentators curse strikes! Grace & Flowers and manager Julie M though seem to have taken up the challenge and heard the call to action from last week, they recorded a steady 48 points to push up the table to 34th. There is no change in the bottom three this week but Mayor Team (Victor Mayor) and Gazzas Fishing Rod (Alan Long) both jump up the table as Big Ballerz Tingz FC and manager Lacazette keep dropping. Its going to be quite the relegation scrap!
In scouting news the top players that are top coming in are:
1. Morata 2. Salah 3. Hazard 4. GroB 5. Sterling Those that have lost favour with their managers this week are: 1. Lukaku (cant hit a barn door) 2. Eriksen (not providing the returns) 3. Abraham (injured) 4. David Silva (does everyone know something I don’t? 5. Jones (perma injured) There are a few obvious players being brought in by managers this week, with Salah, Hazard and Morata all on form at the moment. Sterling has hit a purple patch with his scoring so is providing some great returns to managers at the moment and Grob at Huddersfield is proving to be a bargain and paying back with some assists. Heres a quick update from the FPL Tips Team for you as well:

Probably the only time I will get to mention my team in this thread but I had to this week with me bringing in the most points. Seems like we are starting to see a bit of a pattern emerging now all, will it continue? Let me know if you would like me to add anything else into these updates. Do you like the video?
