A few game weeks have gone by and the international break has ended and we kick back off with the next round of fixtures for the clubs and managers this weekend. After a few weeks hiatus the league has begun to take shape and we now have some clubs looking like serious contenders this season. Florence the Eagle and manager Affleck have stayed at the summit for the past couple of weeks with some big points scores. They currently sit top with 466 points. A good 17 points ahead of their nearest rival. However, 17 points is not much of a gap in this league.
Koom Kulx Klan and manager Mani P are right on the Eagles tail feathers and sit in second place on 449. They have been thereabouts in recent weeks and havent been out of the top 10. A club to watch I think. Another manager who has been used to the top is manager Amin and All Blacks United. They are still very much in the running and shouldnt be discounted at this early stage. They will be looking to reclaim top spot after being usurped in recent weeks. A major suprise has been the recent run of Farcelona! Outcasts very own Hale has had a major run of results, putting in some huge points hauls. Clearly his real life coaching badges are coming in handy and he has stormed up into 4th. Can he maintain his run? Two teams that everyone should be worried about are current champions 3Ks and former Sporting Mad champions Storm Riders. Manager Gramian of 3Ks has quietly gone about his buisness and his staying in touch with the early leaders and after a slow start manager Gleeson has pulled back points on the leaders and is slowly clawing his way up the league. Something to watch out for as Manager Blackwell of Blackenbrecher pointed out 'Brian started out slow last time before romping home, watch him'. At the other end of the table it seems Chris Coleman cant catch a break. His Welsh side going out of the World Cup and he's bottom of the fantasy league too. A sacking is on the cards. But that does mean that manager Sing and Klaven A Laugh are not bottom for once! Top result that for all concerned. ---------- Sorry for the lack of updates all. Still away but will be back soon and articles, podcasts and fantasy football updates will be back to normal. Cheers.
