AuthorJeffEyesRimmer Big Gameweek this week, with the average points haul being a respectable 50 points. We have a bit of a breather this week to take stock of the league, with the EPL not resuming until next Tuesday due to the FA Cup being on this weekend. With the news that Sanchez has finally moved to Manchester United will managers jump on to sign him up? It seems that this week managers have been reluctant to do so. Brian Gleeson and Storm Riders have almost doubled their advantage at the top this week, now sitting 13 points clear at the summitt. However, as we know that’s not a lot of points and there is still plenty of time left in the season to make that up. Can Brian hold onto top spot for a third week in a row? After finally losing their top spot Mark and Florence needed a big round and they delivered with a big 62 point haul that keeps them in touch of 1st place. However, they are going to need to keep an eye out on Mani P and Koom behind them in third. Manager Mani picked up a whopping 68 points this round and so gains a little ground on second place. Verma FC had a below average round though and that has seen Optics Untied gain some points on them in 4th and 5th respectively. Optics United can finally have some bragging rights in Football Outcasts HQ too (for once) after finally overtaking Farcelona. Danger Here and Thunder FC have continued their upward trend and that has seen them push Farcelona down the table. Farcelona and manager Hale are losing their grip on the top five quickly and will need to up their game from the 33 points haul this week. That was the second lowest score in the league and the same as bottom of the basement Big Ballerz. Time for a managerial change? Special mention to manager James Palmer and Smack my Bilić up with a massive round record points haul of 74 points. Keep an eye out for manager Robertson and Robbo's Other Team who have the 5th highest points haul in January so far too. That’s seen them claim the table up into 22nd. One team that has completely lost their heads though are Bacuna Nakata, once sitting in the upper echelons of the table they have had a mammoth fall from grace and sit down in 23rd. But we suppose that’s what happens when you put Bony in your team as your main striker! Down at the bottom Big Ballerz still prop up the table, with Mayor and Cambridge Skulls making up the bottom three. The players being brought in include:
1. Agüero 2. Willian 3. Mahrez 4. Ayew 5. Vardy Those that have lost favour with their managers this week are: 1. Lingard 2. Eriksen 3. Son 4. Kane 5. Rooney ------- Bit of a break now all what with the FA Cup disrupting the league a bit. The next update probably won’t be until the Friday with the games being played on Tuesday and Wednesday. Often means the leagues are not fully updated in time. Tom
